On behalf of our client we are looking for a Senior Lead .NET Developer with a great passion for working with complex custom-built systems.
Your responsibilities as Senior Lead .NET Developer
You are a developer by heart and you love getting your hands on the code in critical systems. Working with and modernizing legacy code is key and you will use your technological experience and expertise to provide the customers with professional solutions. Our Client is primarily working in .NET, TFS 2015, SQL Server.
You are a team player and you will play a key technical role in the projects and share your knowledge with the team.
In your lead role, you will be responsible for defining, reviewing and following up on best practice code standard and ensuring that the team delivers code quality as agreed.
You will be involved and able to contribute throughout the entire development process with e.g. advice, analysis, technical solution design, development, Unit- and performance test as well as ongoing maintenance and support of the customers’ business critical systems.
Your work meets high requirements in quality, best practice and documentation.
Your skills for communication and cooperation are frequently used in relation to both customers and colleagues. You will be part of global project teams with colleagues from Denmark, the Czech Republic and the Philippines, so intercultural work experience will be an advantage in order to proactively handle the intercultural differences and further develop the team.
Microsoft Application & Technology team
You will be part of a team with top professional colleagues developing and maintaining complex systems for customers within strategic segments.
Together with your team you have the full responsibility for adding new functionality and features to existing systems within the portfolio. Our client has long-term client agreements which gives you the opportunity to develop the systems for a longer period based on a deep understanding of the business needs.
Our client has embarked on an agile journey on the particular account, so if you bring a keen interest in or working experience with agile or scrum, it will be an advantage in your lead role.

Your qualifications and experience
You probably have a Master’s degree or similar in an IT related field, and 5-10 years of programming experience with .NET/C# and other Microsoft technologies. You have the right drive and passion for development and maintenance of complex systems and thrive in a lead role.
In your new role, you will be working with Microsoft technologies and we are looking for a profile with several or all of the following skills:
• Solid C# and .NET developer experience using the latest .NET Framework, Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
• Web Service development with WCF
• Agile development using VS and TFS tools
• MS SQL Server
It will be an advantage if you have experience working with:
• SOLID and CleanCode
• DevOps (environments, build- and deploy and perhaps continuous integration)
• Microservices architecture (or an interest in this area)
You are able to work both in a team and independently and engage with your colleagues in knowledge sharing about the experience gained in your projects.
You are good at explaining complex issues in a simple way and may find personal pleasure in developing others and see them shine as well.
You communicate with international colleagues as well as Danish customers. Therefore, it is important that you have good Danish and English skills both orally and in writing.
